My skin savior, Aloe Vera Gel.

Nowadays, we need something that can help us get healthier and maintain our good skin as possible. With all this pollution and such. I love trying out new products that will help me achieve it. And, I can say that I found one!

This past month of January was a bit hectic for me, since I have to wake up early for work and go to bed as early as I can. There are times that I can feel my skin was so dry and sometimes, too oily. I have combination kind of skin and I needed some products who won’t cause me breakouts.

It is hard to find products that can help you with all your imperfections like pimples and etc, specially on the face area. Nowadays, I like trying out Korean skin care products because of what they are putting on their products. They claim to put more natural ingredients as possible and less chemical.

So, last year I found a website the offers Korean brands (Althea Korea ph) and tried it. I know there are lots of them now. The first thing on my list is this Aloe Gel by Nature Republic. I purchased this because of two things. For my hair and face. We know that aloe vera gel can make our hair stronger and fuller. I can still remember that I scrape aloe gel plant and put it into my hair when I was still a kid. But, this time the use of it evolved. Why? It’s because that you can use it in many ways.

For instance, I use it as my moisturizer. After my toner , I just put ample amount onto my face and neck, and go further until my hairline. I don’t have fuller brows. I need to line my brows to make it fuller. But, after using this product for some time now, I can say that it totally worked. I had fuller brows, much better than before and there are baby hairs along my hairline that was a little bald. My family noticed the changes as well.

As of the moment, I can say that it is my favorite. It is so versatile, cheap, works well, not greasy and lots of products in one tub. This inexpensive products works really well for me, and I am not hesitant to tell others to use it, because I proved that this works!

I am still on the lookout for good products out there, and can recommend to you guys, How about you? What kind of products that works for you? Let me know, so I can try it too.

I can say that this one doesn’t make my face oilier, but of course, since I’m leaving in a tropical country, it can’t be avoided. I’ll try to make more review on skin care next time, you can have ideas as well.

  6. rachel here, judy! at first glance i though we share the same brand but when I read your entire artivle, you are using nature’s republic while i’m using face shop. the packaging looks the same, otherwise, the effect i guess is the same. makes the skin supple and bright. it is very light on the skin that you can use it as many times as you like. it’s not greasy at all once it penetrated on your skin. after a month of use coupled with balanced diet, you’ll have dewy, soft, baby skin! pinky swear!

    and it’s budget friendly!

  8. You know what I do lol… I get the real aloe vera plant and sliced it open. Blend the aloe gel into very liquidy form so it’s like a serum to apply. It’s pretty good actually and no preservatives.

      1. I found it at my local Korean grocery store… I’m not sure where you are but maybe try one of those Korean convenience or grocery stores. If all else fails, maybe grow your own? Lol!

Yes, Judy I deal with more Organic products myself! I have used tea tree oil & olive oil for my hair personally… as far as skin care I actually mix some ingredients to create a “body butter” so to speak!
